Our hydraulic patient lifts are manufactured by one of the leading brands in the industry, Drive/DeVilbiss Medical. We carry slings with commode openings, and slings without. Included in this rental package:

Please note that these patient lifts are hydraulic, not electric or battery operated. We will need the user’s height and weight to determine the size of sling needed.

Please note that we will need to know what size wheelchair is needed. If you do not know what size wheelchair is needed, we will need to know the user’s height and weight to determine a size. Our transport chairs only come in 2 sizes: 17″ and 19″. If Elevating Legrests or Anti-tippers are requested, there will be an additional $10 each added to the monthly rental rate (this excludes reclining wheelchairs which come standard with both).

Power Scooters

Our power scooters are built by Pride Mobility, a leading manufacturer of power mobility. Included in this rental package:

Please note that we do not supply scooter lifts or ramps. The scooters we carry are able to be easily disassembled for transport. There is a $150 refundable deposit that will be applied to any scooter rental, whether a scooter is rented for 1 week, or 1 month. Scooters must be picked up and returned to our retail store.

Home Oxygen Concentrators

Our oxygen concentrators are manufactured by Invacare and Philips Respironics, two leading manufacturers of respiratory care. Included in this rental package:

• 1 5 Liter or 10 Liter Concentrator
• 1 Nasal Cannula
• Your choice of 1 25′ or 50′ oxygen tubing (Hi-flow cannulas come standard for 10L concentrator)
• 1 Humidifier bottle (MUST be requested for low flow below 4 liters per minute – Hi-flow bottle comes standard for 10L concentrator)
• 1 E Tank (for emergency backup purposes)
• 1 Regulator for E Tank
• 1 E Cart

Please note that we require a prescription for private rentals of concentrators.  The prescription MUST contain the liter flow. These are in-home units, and are NOT to be removed from the premises to be used for travel, unless prior arrangements have been made. Do NOT smoke when using the oxygen concentrator as oxygen supports combustion.

Portable Oxygen Concentrators

Our oxygen concentrators are manufactured by Inogen, a leading manufacturer of portable oxygen concentrators. Included in this rental package:

• 1 Portable Oxygen Concentrator
• All charging cables (including car charger), manuals, carrying bags/carts
• 1 Nasal cannula & tubing

Please note that we require a prescription for private rentals of oxygen concentrators.  The prescription MUST contain the liter flow, and MUST state that the user is able to use a conserving device. These are portable units approved by FAA for use on commercial airlines. The user MUST contact his/her airline to find out how many batteries are required, and if any forms are required to be filled out. If the user is renting the portable oxygen to move outside AMS service areas, he/she is responsible for returning all equipment in the same working order as when it was delivered. The user is responsible for shipping the portable oxygen concentrator back. He/she may use a mail carrier of his/her choice, but MUST purchase $5,000.00 of insurance. Our portable oxygen concentrators ARE NOT to be used in conjunction with CPAP/BiLEVEL devices. Do NOT smoke when using the oxygen concentrator as oxygen supports combustion.

If you’re having difficulty getting equipment approved by insurance, or maybe you don’t qualify at all, we offer equipment on a self-pay, monthly rental basis. No strings attached, no hidden fees, no extensive waiting period or approval needed.  Here’s how it works:

1. You pay the first month’s rental fee upfront (including taxes if no prescription is on file)
2. We deliver your equipment (in most cases same-day, free delivery charge)
3. You receive a bill the next month if the equipment is still needed, or if a pickup hasn’t already been arranged

If you are finished using the equipment by the end of the 30-day billing cycle, call us to arrange a pickup. Please note that if you only need the equipment for a period of less than 30 days, you will still be billed for the full 30-day cycle.  We do not offer prorated rates; please keep this in mind before renting any equipment.  If your use of the equipment extends past the first 30-day billing cycle, you will automatically be billed for another 30 days. We do not have any rent-to-own options available at this time.  If you wish to purchase the equipment you’re renting, we can apply a maximum of 1 month’s worth of rental cost towards the purchase of that exact rental equipment.
